The face behind Lagom Lessons
Welcome to Lagom Lessons!

I’m Axel Andersson, a musician from Sweden with a passion for self-improvement and balanced living.

I grew up on a small farm in the Swedish countryside, spending most of my time alone as the only boy around. As I got older, I turned to YouTube, discovering people I could look up to online.

At the age of 11, I was already watching videos on "How to get a six-pack at home fast." I even remember one guy suggesting using duct tape to make abs stand out. So, I spent a few hours with a duct-tape six-pack on (it didn't work).
Looking back, I see that blindly following the advice of others made me feel pressured to meet certain standards to avoid being seen as a failure.
I tried to be the biggest guy at the gym or start a business following a millionaire guru's "secret" to get rich quickly
In my pursuit of self-improvement, I realized that this approach was causing me stress and worry. I was trying to become someone else, rather than focusing on what truly mattered to me.

This realization led me to embrace the Swedish concept of Lagom, which means "just the right amount." I created this blog to help people find the sweet spot of life. By sharing practical tips and insights on finding harmony in everyday life, without any "secrets" or "shortcuts."

In a world often dominated by extreme self-improvement advice, I want Lagom Lessons to offer a refreshing, sustainable approach to personal growth.

Join me as I explore the art of living well, embracing simplicity, and achieving balance in all aspects of life.

Kind Regards
Axel
